RouteBad Tölz - Sylvensteinspeicher - Wildbad Kreuth - Tegernsee - Waakirchen - Tölz

This tour combines some of the most beautiful corners of the Isarwinkel and around the Tegernsee: turquoise water, mountain panoramas, lovely roads and several opportunities to park the Vespa and just enjoy the moment.

We start in Bad Tölz. Either via Lenggries on the B13, or much nicer via Arzbach and Wegscheid, continuing up to the Sylvensteinspeicher reservoir. The ride up is already a pleasure, and when the view opens up to the lake and surrounding mountains, you’ll definitely feel like you’re on holiday.

At the dam wall of the Sylvensteinspeicher, it’s worth making a quick stop. Park the Vespa, enjoy the view over the water and of course take a souvenir photo – the lake, mountains and Vespa make for a pretty good backdrop.

Then we continue along the Sylvensteinsee via Glashütte towards Tegernsee. Along the way, there’s a special Brotzeit stop: the Herzogliche Fischzucht Wildbad Kreuth.

The Vespa stays in the car park, because from there it’s a short walk through the forest to the fish farm. After the ride, it’s a nice opportunity to stretch your legs a bit – and at the end of the path, a well-deserved Brotzeit awaits in the middle of nature. Fresh fish, a relaxed atmosphere and the peaceful location make this detour one of the special stops on this tour.

After that, it’s back to the Vespas and on to Tegernsee. Here it’s worth taking a break at the Marina Tegernsee. Sit right by the water, enjoy the view over the lake and mountains with a cold drink or an espresso and just let your mind wander – Dolce Vita, Upper Bavarian style.

For the final leg, we head back towards home. Via Wackersberg, the loop returns to Bad Tölz.

A wonderful loop for anyone who doesn’t count the kilometres on the odometer, but what happens along the way: beautiful roads, stunning views, good Brotzeit and enough time to just sit still for a while.
